Wheelchairs and kites

"Hey! It's you! Did you come to visit me?" One of the boy in the wheelchair asked me while his other 2 friends are arguing.
It's been quite a while since I last visit them, felt guilty about it actually.
I mean while I'm swimming/drowning in my own world of thoughts, thinking that the world is falling down on me, I totally forgotten about those who are really in need and it's amazing how quick and easily they can cheer me up, they don't even know nor do they need to try.
Simply being with them, that's all it takes for my mind to find peace and renew my hopes and dreams. One short hour with them and I'm the most cheerful person to a point that my friends think that I've gone insane.
"I've lost the kite you gave me last time." said the same boy.

I'll be back there again soon.

The participants are:
  1. Seng Keong
  2. De Way
  3. Aurelius
  4. Andrew
  5. Charles
  6. Aries
  7. Linus
  8. Myself
A big salute to everyone for the strong will and endurance, I must admit that you guys got really good stamina, and even thou we didn't get to enjoy the prize I hope sure hope that everyone did enjoy the journey as much as I did.
The journey is the reward.
- Chinese Proverb

We'll find it one day, so Seng Keong don't blame yourself, I'm also responsible that we got lost. :P

Mud, Pig, and Waterfall

I'm leaving for Chemperoh falls (Coordinates: N03 16.86' E101 53.27') early tomorrow morning (6.00am), this trail like most of the other trails before is new to us which to me it add up to the excitement. Chemperoh falls is located in Janda Baik, Pahang. Sounds far but it's more or less then an hour drive.
Be cautious when in outdoor activities and driving. You are prone to emotional instability, accidents and injuries. You can display the Brass Five Element Pagoda to minimize the health risks.
My Chinese Astrology Horoscope Source
Chinese Horoscope says that I must be careful, I bet that they didn't use the word "avoid" because they already knew that people born under the year of Pig/Boar are stubborn, at least I know I am.
Gonna go sharpen my dagger now, enjoy your weekend.

Does my vote really count?

I've just checked if I'm selected to vote for the coming election and it seems that I am selected...

The question on my mind is not which party to vote for but somehow rather I keep asking myself does my vote really count?
I'm sure some of us heard rumours saying that our voting system isn't fair and all that, I don't know who is right or who is wrong, seriously I cannot tell because I'm not involved in counting the votes or anything that might change the outcome so I cannot really say much.
Where on earth do you all get these information anyway?

I believe it is important to vote for election, as a citizen I seriously do. I remembered that I once watched a short clip about democracy and how every vote counts.
It goes something like this...
All votes are collected and put in to a truck, and it is then moved to a power station and thrown into a furnace that generates eletricity for a light bulb of a man's toilet in a cheap apartment.
Anyway, to those people whom I told them to register for election but didn't do so, good choice perhaps and to those who are still clueless if they are selected to vote, click here to check and remember, every vote counts.

Building an armature (Part 2)

Got a stronger glue now it makes superglue looks like a blooming sissy, so glued everything together and got what I want.

I also bought thinner steel cables which is easier to shape but breaks quite easily too, doesn't matter to me cause I made it all easy to replace so that I will not have to deal with anymore glue in case of a broken limb.

Building an armature

I've spent some time looking at some armature designs and figured that there are a few ideas I could copy or some how improve so that I can minimise the hassle that so many people posted.
I'm still in the process of building or rather fixing the flaws that I find from the armature I build and I think it is a good idea for me to post this in my own blog so that at least I have some sort of record i can refer to in the future.

Here are 2 stripes of electrical wire connectors, what I did was unscrew all the screw so that the brass connector in the can be remove, I keep all the screws even thou I know that I don't need all of them but they might come in handy in future as spares.

This was prepared earlier, a small aluminium tube that has been saw accordingly to form the frame of the armature.

What I did next is superglue everything together, the brass connectors are glued in place in side the aluminium tubes so that I could use it to hold metal wires and also allows me to replace it without the need to do alot of repairs. The result of the joint is shown in the picture below.

The flaws I've encountered is that the glue that I'm using isn't strong enough to hold the aluminium together to form a T shape frame and the brass connectors could still be removed from the aluminium tubing if it's pulled out too hard, I may need to replace the superglue with metal epoxy or something strong, the wires I used for the joints are also too thick in size that it actually makes it harder to shape and could potentially damage the bond between the aluminium tube and the brass connector.
Visit the hardware shop is required still I believe.
To be continue...

Happy Valentine's Day to the world

Saudi Arabia INCLUDED!

After reading the news in the link above I believe the first thing that many people would say is "The religion not so good la, blah blah blah".
How do I see the difference between good religion and bad religion? Is there any?
Personally I do not believe that there is a bad religion, even if there is one I wouldn't blame religion.
Just a few days back, I learned that a friend of mine was forced to break up with his girlfriend because of her mother's point of view on religion doesn't comply with his not only that they had to break up, the mother also come in to bad term with him. Bull! I remember correctly, all religion teach us to love and care for all human and living beings, come in to bad term with a person is not really what God wants I believe.
Seriously, I think the ones that should be blame is the people, not the religion. People are the ones misusing religion as a tool in their own benefits in family affairs, politics, etc.
I really shouldn't be ranting about this especially on a day of love but I just wanna let it off my chest.

Anyway... Spread the LOVE
Happy Valentine's Day
