Grave of the forest

How many trees have to fall for us to wipe our ass?

A recent project had brought me to saw mills and wood processing plant, and it's really sad to see the amount of dead trees in the area. Simply imagine that more then a dozen or 2 dozens football fields filled with logs or sawed wood, the amount of wood there is so insane that you have to see it to believe it, everywhere I turn there is wood, even the ground is no longer soil, earth or mud, it's all covered in think layer of saw dust.
The biggest questions that runs in my mind are, where did all these trees come from? Who permits these logging activities? It's just crazy how fast the trees are being cut down and turn in to strips of wood and shipped out at a rate that it gives J.I.T (Just-in-Time) a whole new meaning.
Sad thing is that humans are killing themselves and they don't even realized it.

The Pink Spider Memorial

I was looking for a video of X Japan performance where Yoshiki Hayashi starts the song with a slow relaxing solo tune on the piano, then continue with head banging beat on the drums, the dude is talented and the lighting of the stage performance in the video is sick!
I did not manage to find what I want, however I just learn that the band just had a memorial recently for their band member Hideto "Hide" Matsumoto who passed away on the 2th of May 1998.

Pink Spider was the nickname Yoshiki gave to Hide for his trademark pink hair

Now I return to my dose of Japanese Heavy Metal.

Movies to watch

Watched 2 movies for the last 2 days, and to me these are the 2 movies that everyone should watch. For a movie that was nominated for the best foreign language film on Golden Globe this film have a really low presents in our country, I only knew after being told about it and initially I wasn't really eager to watch it, but thankfully I did.
There are 2 thing that I like most about this film, one is the visual, I just love the way it was shot and I find every scene beautifully taken. The second think I like about this film is the story, a story of a man who seeks redemption for the thing he did during his childhood, and a loyal servant who would do anything including losing his own life for his master or his friend.

Hassan: For you, a thousand times over

Unlike the kite runner, Iron man (or "Orang Besi" in Bahasa) is one of the most talked about movies among my circle of friends, I guess most of my friends are fans of Marvel Comic, most of them watch it before I did anyway.
I don't really need to say much about Iron man except for "Rock & Roll, Baby!". I'm Gonna Love the soundtrack.

Tony Stark: Is it better to be feared or respected? And I'd say is it too much to ask for both?

Haven't Shower: since 1983

I got no clay and I got no way to transfer pictures on to my computer, so I got to draw using a touch pad because I couldn't use the mouse, I had to use MS Paint because my Photoshop has expired, but at least I came up with something today.

note: The above events are all real, that includes not having my shower.
