The Simpsons: Movie

I'm supposed to be working right now but I got to clear my head as I find it hard to concentrate right now and I blame "SpiderPig"! Why SpiderPig?
I don't want to spoil the movie for anyone so to learn about the origin of SpiderPig, go watch it.

Last night, I watched The Simpsons: Movie at cineleisure. At first I felt weird to see the Simpsons and felt like there is the "it looks like 3D but it's 2D" feeling that I get from the other Matt Groening's work (Futurama). Not a bad thing in fact I felt that it makes the whole movie look much more outstanding than the series. As for the comedy in the movie, all I can say is that I started laughing even before the show begun and trust me, anyone sane or sadist alike would do the same, besides it ain't the Simpsons if we're ain't laughing.
I give the movie a rating of 15 out of 10, and I know that some people are not that good in math like myself. So to explain in lay man term, I award this movie the second greatest movie I've ever seen in my life! (I still haven't decide what movie to put at first yet.)
WooHoooooooooooo! SpiderPig ROCKS!

Negative or positive working environment

"Dennis! What are you smiling at?"

The above line is one thing the people at my workplace always ask me, and yes! Everyone thinks that I've lost my mind (That includes my mother.) just because I am always wearing a smile even if the mood of the environment turn hot (swearing and curse words makes me laugh.)

The day before there were scolding (not me), yesterday an auntie was crying and today a colleague told me "Only stupid people work here." and ran off, I don't know what was it about but WTF I say!

I am not the kind of person who likes to worry about things, if it works, Yay! it works. If it doesn't works, it's either do it again or it's time to move along, I ain't no time for bitching and whining, life is just too short for me to be worrying about things.
Bitch and whine all you want, Dennis is going one way and it's gonna be his way.

Limbless Devil

The minute I sat down on my office chair, I've been making and answering calls, sending and receiving faxes, making sure operation is going smooth.
It is as if there is something watching me, making sure that I'm too busy to do anything else. I guess it must be the devil himself, so after everyone gone back I made this limbless figure of the devil, just to remind myself that the devil is just a limbless clay figure that can be crush with my hands.

Is it a sin to love your country?

Clay Comic (Click on it)

I was browsing the Internet after finish calling up golf clubs around Malaysia reminding them to do their data submission and I came upon the blog of 黃明志 namewee (http://namewee.blogspot.com/), in case you dont know, namewee is the person who sang Negarakuku which had became a major issue to the goverment, namewee was told to gert ready to go to jail for that... What the Fuck! So now the goverment is putting people in jail for loving the country and speaking the truth? What is wrong with speaking the truth and being honest?

What do you expect us to do, huh? Go about with our lives and pretend that we are happy all the time? In school we learn moral values like honesty, courage, unity ,love , and other values, and now someone is going to jail for having the courage to be honest, and love for the country?
Hey, I got an idea! why dont we just take off moral studies from the schools? It's a bloody waste of time and money anyway since it's not going to be practiced by 60 to 70 percent of the people anyway, we can also sack all the moral teachers so that we can channel the money to some dumb fuck project like, half a bridge to Singapore which lets you drive in to the ocean, or a smart tunnel that so smart it could divert flood water but not traffic. Oh ya, don't forget about the Malaysia version of Buzz Lightyear, we're going to space but we need a ride.

Now is it fair to let the goverment to do all the talking, while all the 'Rakyat' can do is to shut up?
Will there ever be unity in this goes on? Or have we already forgotten country's motto that is written on the crest? If that's the case let me remind everyone:
"Unity is Strength"
(Bersekutu Bertambah Mutu)

Happy Birthday Ian

Joy cafe pre opening visit

Timmy called up this morning asking me if I would like to go visit his family's soon to be open restaurant for a visit, he has been talking about it a lot and that has got me feeling very curious, wanting to see the place myself I immediately said yes.
We arrived at the cafe and 1st thing I noticed is how clean the place is, the cafe wears a new coat of pleasant light green, The furniture and everything else looks nice and clean.
There I tried the drinks that Timmy's dad made and the one drink that got my attention is the plum + cucumber ice blend, I've never heard of such a drink in my life and I'm definitely not a big fan of ice blend but to my surprise it tasted very good and refreshing.
Timmy's dad also made us some beef brisket noodles to eat, and I must say some improvement has to be made on it's presentation however it tastes very good, the chunks of beefs were tender and juicy.

It's will be officially open this coming Friday, 20th July 2007.
So if you are nearby or interested in having some killer beef brisket noodles, the cafe is located at:

Joy Cafe
540, Jalan Riang 11,
Happy Garden,
58200 Kuala Lumpur.

Expired Drivers License

"Dude! I just remembered that my driver's license has just expired!"
That was what I said while driving Timmy's car back from work. My license expired on the 30th of June and yet I've been driving around happily for the past 9 days, forgetting that I'm carrying a dead license driving around.
Not really a big deal, I got it renewed at the post office near my work place today and to repent myself for being a criminal by driving around with an expired license, I've registered myself to vote for the coming election.

Behold! The Pink Paper!

And as requested by Timmy, here's a picture of my cubical. As you can see it's just a paper work land (No special effects!), tech support is very minimal here. I have to create the problem so that I could get my hands dirty molesting some computers hardware's. MGA gotta be careful this year because I'm gonna need lots of help from the accounts department.

Soccer = Serious Business!?

Yesterday I was watching Goal II: Living the Dream, the whole show talks about the life of soccer players, it is a very interesting movie presenting the up and downs of the lives of soccer players but the one thing I can't help to realized is that the movie mention nothing about the soccer fans (Don't you just love them?).
I believe that most of us know at least one person who loves watching soccer, they can talk about how well or badly any team performs, what the manager should do, or which player should the football club buy (Lists goes on and it's never ending). Even thou their opinion is not going to matter in the club decisions, they will keep on going talking about football day and night.
I remembered very clearly that there was a time when the radio station "hitz.fm" keeps on advertising that "Oh, We Malaysians support a lot of football team except their own, so we should be supporting our local football team blah blah blah", then a few minutes later the radio DJ said "Manchester United is so... going to defeat Liverpool blah blah blah". Dude! Didn't you all just advertise that Malaysians should support their own football team? WTF?!
While browsing around the Internet I found this old comment about Malaysian soccer scene, the first post was supportive but lacks in "Chi".
Then later on, the dark side of the "Chi" begun to clouds the positive "Chi". People who created the negative "Chi" seems to be blaming everyone and everything but themselves. Yes I know they have very reasonable, valid and excellent points, but all talk and no action doesn't make you a hero, doing the Samy-method isn't going to make thing better, dawg .
I'm not a soccer fan hater nor a soccer hater, and if there are people playing in the field there is a chance that I might be joining too even thou I'm not skilled, but I'm just in for the fun.
I'm not saying that anyone should support who and who or what so ever, if you like a team go ahead and support it, do what you want to but just remember that there are people around you might not be interested or have a single clue to what you are talking about, so respect the people around and tone it down a little, unless if you are hanging out with your soccer buddies of cause.

Interview, meeting and first day of work

Yesterday I gone for an interview at Rahman Putra Golf Club in Sungai Buloh, it's actually an interview for a position in the Malaysian Golf Association (MGA) located in Desa Pandan, Kuala Lumpur. I know that I've messed myself up big time during the interview and the reason is I didn't check my shirt before entering the interview, the back of my shirt wasn't tucked in and the interviewer's first comment was : "Do you always dress up like that?" (I later learned that he's the chairman)
The interview was short, I was in no mood to answer question due to the long wait and the un-tucked shirt incident. After a few more questions asked by the chairman, he then thank me for coming, indicating that I could leave now. I left and walked stright to the car fire up the engine and drove out of the club, as I approch the junction that lead home, the phone rang and it was Mr. Ravi calling, asking me to go back as he has something to speak to me about. I was wondering what could he possibilly want to speak to me about, I knew there was only one way to find out so I drove back to the Club.
Next thing I know I was having lunch getting ready to attend the company meeting with the software developers and suddenlly I hold alot of responsibilities in the company's operations.
First day of work and I felt overloaded with information and still dont know what the hell am I supposed to do to the paper works that keeps coming to my desk. I must catch up with my work sooner or else I'll be too dazed to know my job function. It may seems that I'm going to suffer, however I take this as a blessing, I don't know why but it's a blessing.

Penang Island wedding (Part II)

The waiting

Second day in Penang! I woke up thanking Panasonic for making air conditioners, it's really a requirement if you are staying in Penang. So carry on with the wedding, headed to sis's place and wait for things to happen, it's really no fun being there early and end up having to wait for all the guest but thank goodness the bridegroom's father takes time management seriously, making sure that he arrive on time.

The Arrival

OK... the one thing I don't want to do is to describe how the wedding was done in detail, it'd be too long winded so here's a picture.

Family Picture

And another to show that I've visit a pig breeding facility.
